SHAAMS aims to establish efficiency-proven governance solutions able to promote innovative, transferable and sustainable solar energy policies. To do so, we facilitate the dialogue among public administration bodies, research centres, private firms and civil society organizations. In order to create concrete opportunities for dialogue, national energy roadmaps – under the form of Energy Country Reports –  were prepared by WWF and local partners for Lebanon, Egypt and Jordan with the aim to define the political, legislative, institutional, and financial frameworks needed for an effective development of solar energy in the three countries. So far, the national energy roadmaps  have been presented and discussed in Egypt and Lebanon through multi-stakeholders national meetings gathering over 140 people. In Jordan, a similar meeting will be organized in December.

All the inputs provided by the stakeholders will be integrated in the final version of the national roadmaps.
