Mr. Mohammad Al Amoush the CEO of Al Urdonia Lil Ebda attended the “medsolar workshop in Jordan” that was held at The National Center for Energy Research on Wednesday, January 28th 2015.
Mr. Al Amoush started the workshop by introducing Al Urdonia Lil Ebda and its activities followed by introducing SHAAMS project, its objectives, and its importance through the use of renewable energy especially the solar energy. He also encourages the transfer of technology through the use of solar energy, investing in it, and the importance of promoting and encouraging community groups to use alternative energy and rationalizing the consumption of energy.
The main reason of participating in this workshop was to achieve the goals of SHAAMS program- funded by the European Union within the framework of joint cooperation across the borders of the Mediterranean (ENPI CBC Med)- through networking with other EU funded projects, where this cooperative activities highlight the importance of involving representatives of various sectors in the definition and identification of the development of the energy sector in Jordan, in which it would result in concerting efforts in the political and industry sectors to gather and exchange data and reliable indicators towards a comprehensive approach to solar energy in Jordan.
