Al Urdonia Lil Ebda (AULE) within SHAAMS project funded by the European Union (EU) within the framework of common cooperation program of across the border to the Mediterranean Basin (ENPI CBC MED) and cooperation with the National Center for Energy Research held training program under the title ” Photovoltaic (PV) Systems: Concepts, Design and Economics” during from 3 until November 5, 2014.
Eng. Mohammad Alamoush, CEO of Al Urdonia Lil Ebda, introduced SHAMS project, opening of the training and pointed out the renewable energy importance, especially solar energy and to encourage the transfer of solar technology by exploiting and investment opportunities and requirements resulting from the solar energy sector and stressed to promote and encourage all society segments to use of alternative energy and energy conservation.
The training targeted a group of managers, engineers, consultants in the engineering field and solar energy and private companies’ .As well as, some university students to introduce them to the solar cells systems principles and various techniques, applications and economies also provide them with the necessary skills to design their systems. The program adopted the practical side where he was visiting the practical solar power plant, which is located inside the campus of the Royal Scientific Society and during the visit has been viewed on the station and components, mechanism of action also took readings on the used amount of solar energy and the amount of energy produced in addition to the theoretical side of science.
