Students who have participated in educational workshops in the last months will join and share what they have learned, through workshops which will be organized from Saturday afternoon on one of the city’s main squares – Piazza Dante. A performance producing energy from lemon juice (!) will also be done by the artist Ennio Bertrand. On the night, all the key buildings of the city will be switched off and a concert and candlelit performance will take place on piazza Dante.

Join Earth Hour in Dar Al Saraya Museum! A discussion panel with the local governors and private sector will open the celebration.  Educational training games are organised as a continuation of what has been developed with students since January. A special ceremony will reward the winners of the video competition “Use your power”. A candlelit event will be organised on the main square with the presence of the popular folkloric Band Arab.

Environmental shows, standup comedian, singers, bands and dancers will create an amazing programme, raising awareness on solar and renewable energy, while maximizing the event impact with the support of the media partners. A fundraising activity is also planned to support local NGOs.
